The Barbara Bot is a chat bot using the voice of Barbara, an angry old lady I prank called a few years ago. I ended up turning her into a robot and the Barbara Bot number ended up on a telemarketing list. Now Barbara Bot takes calls daily from scammers calling about Medicare, Senior Benefits, and other various scams. Most scammers hang up after about a minute or so, but if they stay on the line longer she can get really mean and call them losers. Her angry and somewhat confused voice is irresistible for these scammers and they keep calling hoping someday to get her. Every now and then I go through the calls recorded on the Barbara Bot line and post them here on this website. Be sure to check back now and then. It gets a bit repetitive as she always says the same thing, but hearing the frustration in the scammers voice as they try to speak loud enough for Barabara Bot to hear them can be highly entertaining.
